A&K Skill Development prides ourselves on operating year-round. Our current operating times are as follows:

Monday thru Friday: 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. with Coached Scrimmage

Our prices are as follows:

Individual Player

Single session: $40

Five sessions: $150

Group Session (Minimum of Four Players)

Single session: $30 per player

Five sessions: $125 per player

Services offered and approximated time lengths are as follows:

• Individual and group skill sessions last one hour
• Coached scrimmages are up to three hours
• Performance training lasts 40+ minutes

You can expect your child to receive high-quality training that is individual and personalized for each player. This means that your child will not only develop new skills but the knowledge of how to use them in game time situations. If your child is a starter or first timer, they will develop the ability to understand basic basketball concepts and form the foundation needed to succeed in the game.

A&K Skill Development is different from other programs because of how much we value getting to know each player as an individual. We understand that each child is different and cannot be coached in a singular fashion. Because we take our time to personalize workouts for our clients, they can expect to achieve maximum results that may not be reached without this customized approach. We also send home basketball homework to aid in the child's development.

Of course, another thing we pride ourselves on is giving 110% to each and every workout, because “Success isn’t given; it's earned!"

We tailor our sessions to the skill level of the player we are teaching.

If you are a beginner, your workout will consist of basic basketball fundamentals such as triple threat, shooting form, and ball handling. Intermediate players will start to work on rips to the basket out of triple threat, shooting on the move, and a more challenging version of ball handling. If you are an advanced player, there are a variety of skills we can work on. These can include multi-step moves getting to the rim, advanced technique shooting (which features adding spin to the ball while finishing and getting the release quicker), and ball handling with multiple balls.

These training sessions are not set in stone and can fluctuate based on the child's strengths and weaknesses. If the child is strong in one area, we will focus on another while polishing the one they are already good at.

We hold our training sessions at St. Benedict's Community Center in Erie, Pa. The address is 320 East 10th Street, Erie, PA, 16503.

All kids are eligible for A&K Skill Development; we simply ask that they bring the attitude and we will provide the knowledge.

In order to qualify for group pricing, you must bring a pre-organized group of at least four players. The group must stay together for all sessions.

Individual sessions will keep your child in an individual workout until they are ready to join into a small group with approximately two to three players at the same skill level. This gives them the chance to develop their skills before competing. It is important to note that basketball is a team sport and it is necessary to eventually enter a competitive setting.
